How to solve DEVO 7E annoying beeping sound after power up and how to pair DEVO 7E with RX601 receiver

As a newbie, I was puzzled by the annoying beeping sound and the mysterious "Throttle Stock" and "Flight Switch" (see below photo) when powering up my DEVO 7E and I couldn't find any mentioning of this symptom and its solution in the manual (talk about poorly written manual)...

After some Googling, I found the problem is with the position of the Throttle Stick (left) and the Flight Switch (top right).

It turns out, as a safety feature to prevent the drone / plane from flying away when the remote is powering up, the Throttle Stick and the Flight Switch need to be at position 0 before switching on the remote.

Pairing of DEVO 7E with RX601

The below steps assume that there is no fixed pairing between DEVO 7E and RX601.

1. Make sure the DEVO 7E and the RX601 are both powered off;
2. Power up RX601. The red LED on RX601 will flash;
3. Power up DEVO 7E (make sure the Throttle Stick is at the bottom position and the Flight Switch is at Position 0);
4. Pairing will be established within seconds and the red LED on RX601 will be steadily on.

Note, if the pairing is broken, power off DEVO 7E and RX601 and repeat the above steps.
